FFW's Leonid Makarov Selected as One of 11 Global Acquia MVPs for 2014

FFW is excited to announce that Leonid Makarov has been named an Acquia MVP, making him one of only 11 recipients throughout the world. Acquia is a provider of open cloud hosting, developer tools and support for Drupal, the open source content management platform that unifies content, community and commerce. The MVP program recognizes outstanding contributions from Drupal developers that highlight, embed, and extend Acquia products.
 
Leonid was awarded the Acquia MVP 2014 for his work in embedding the Acquia Platform into the delivery process for a templated site platform that enables clients to self-provision site instances. Leveraging Acquia Cloud APIs and custom Drush commands, site instances provisioned to their own docroot with Jenkins and site configurations are maintained in a Git repo in a YAML file. 
 
Leonid, a Solutions Architect at FFW, has led some of the most exciting Drupal accounts in the industry including: NBC, GE Energy, Emmis, JnJ, and Warner Music Group. In his role as a Solutions Architect, Leonid leads the architecture, design, and development of many of the highly scalable solutions developed by FFW for our valued customers.

Leonid has been with FFW in the Princeton, N.J. area since 2011. Prior to joining FFW, Leonid worked as a Senior Web Developer at Global Logic.
