Google presents its latest highlight: Google Chromecast. Besides the name which you will already be familiar with, the new Google Chromecast has nothing to do with the old gadget.

From now on, Google is presenting its AndroidTV as GoogleTV packaged with a dongle including the new Google Assistant remote control under a single name, Google Chromecast. By combining its already successful products with new features, Google is positioning itself as an important player in the TV business with this move.

The special thing for us about this project is that our long-standing client, ZDF, has once again been named as a Google Prime Partner for the launch. This means that the ZDF media library already comes preinstalled on the GoogleTV. Cellular has prepared this launch intensively in close cooperation with ZDF, with the aim again this time of arming the ZDF media library for the requirements of new hardware and delivering the audience the best user experience.

"We are proud to have been a digitalization partner of ZDF since 2013," states Milan Antonijevic, Chief Revenue Officer at Cellular. "It is a real incentive for us to offer ZDF viewers the best information and outstanding user experience in the ZDF media library across different end devices and access points - just like we are doing now with Google Chromecast."

Chromecast with GoogleTV is now available for preorder at a price of 69 Euros. The ZDF media library will be preinstalled as a pin app.
